In this class instructor Darlene Joy will discuss what it is to be a Sensitive/Empath and how to navigate this world with skill and confidence. You will learn methods on how to allow only desired energies in and how to protect yourself from people's emotions or situations that impact you. Without tools, our environments can become overwhelming. Darlene will help you learn the tools to protect yourself and feel empowered and in control of your energy regardless of your environment.

About Darlene Joy

Searching for my personal truth started in my early thirties. I knew there was more to life than what I had experienced and there wasn't a belief system that seem to be a good fit for me. My life was successful as far as society was concerned but I didn't feel happy in my heart.

I went to the Self-Realization Center in Los Angeles out of curiosity and joined in the group meditation. I remember the warmth of a light that appeared above my head and a tingling sensation of my third eye. For the first time I felt so much peace. This was the beginning of my inner-journey towards connecting with an infinite intelligence that would take me on a path of discovery.

I believe my gifts are not uncommon among my fellow humans for we are born with the capacity for communication and connection on the highest level. For myself I had to practice meditation and healing to open those channels. Believing that we have these abilities sometimes requires that old beliefs of limitation must be replace with allowing ourselves to have these experiences without judgement.

In the year 2010 I had the opportunity to travel to and from Peru and eventually moved to the Sacred Valley until 2017. Traveling throughout the country I experienced spiritual connections in an environment that was so energetically alive and sacred. As a result I learned about the indigenous cultures that never lost their connection to the spirit of the earth and the cosmos. These experiences forever changed me and how I view our existence.

Upon leaving Peru to return to North America I was visited by an ancient goddess that I had been working with in a Huachuma Healing Center above Cuzco. She told me not to forget who I was and to remind others of who they are. And so my spiritual path began in the United States carrying with me all the blessings and information that had been bestowed upon me as a result of these Divine encounters.

My story is one of deep healing and the discovery of what my purpose is in the present. How that manifests is directed by the Higher Beings and the Infinite Intelligence which all of us have been created from and connected to.

There is no wrong or right path...we have come to this beautiful Soul-Planet to learn and evolve. It is my honor and privilege to assist those that find their way to my door. I am in service to you and those who guide us in this miraculous cycle of life.
