Skadi (sometimes spelled Skathi, Skadi, or Skadhi) is a Norse goddess associated with winter, snow, mountains, and hunting. She is believed to be the daughter of the frost giant Thiazi and the wife of the sea god Njord, as recounted in the Norse mythology texts known as the Poetic Edda and the Prose Edda. Skadi is a powerful figure, known for her strength, courage, and ability to survive in harsh environments.
